The Story
For more than 88 years, the Sanford Lions Club has turned out Lee County’s community fair — a five-day run of midway rides, livestock competitions, and small-town entertainment that’s become a fall tradition for the region. Beyond the carnival atmosphere, the fair leans into its roots with tobacco looping and tying demonstrations and antique tractor and farm equipment displays, alongside cooking contests, art and handicraft exhibits, and cattle, goat, and chicken shows.
Live entertainment for 2026 includes the Ember Fire Arts show, the Magic of America show, live local music, and “Jammin’ at the Country Store.”
